We are Sophie and Emre, both passionate dog behavior experts with a deep love for our loyal four-legged companions. At The Dog’s Balance, we aim to help you and your dog build a harmonious and balanced relationship. Our services include behavior consultations, puppy training, and pack walking services.

Our unique approach sets us apart from what people are often accustomed to. We believe in a more holistic approach, working without corrections, punishments, leash pulling, and even without using treats or distracting dogs. 

Why did we start The Dog's Balance? Our original motivation stems from our own experience with Benji and Yuki, our two Romanian street dogs.

From the moment they joined our family, they engaged in daily fights, resulting in numerous visits to the veterinarian, hospital stays, and surgeries. After consulting with multiple trainers and veterinarians, we were told that one of our dogs was deemed 'too aggressive' and beyond help.

Our encounter with Anne-Marie van Oosten marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey. Her knowledge and guidance encouraged us to delve deep into dog psychology, with the goal of understanding our dogs from the inside out, so we could turn the impossible into possible. 

This inner fire drove us to persevere, ultimately resulting in our dogs, who initially couldn't even be in the same room, now playing respectfully and living harmoniously together! 

After consulting with many dog behavior experts, trainers, and reading books from various perspectives, our unique approach was born. In our first year, we've already had the privilege of assisting over 100 dogs, and the best part is that, so far, we've gathered nothing but success stories. We've achieved this success through our unwavering commitment and hard work every day, and we are determined to continue.
